Allison Moore

Allison came to Post Wave from 8^th Note Press, where she was Editorial Director, and previously from Little, Brown Books for Young Readers and Bloomsbury Children’s Books. Prior to that, she worked at Borders and her hometown library. Books she has published have hit The New York Times bestseller list, been selected as Indie Next picks, and been longlisted for the National Book Award. Allison loves stories that open readers’ minds to new perspectives and experiences. 

A bookshop that I love: Too many to name (see below), but one is Green Bean Books in Portland! Many people go to Powell’s, but Green Bean is worth a visit if you love children’s books. (Also, a special shout out to Moore Books in Pennsylvania. “Life is better with Moore books” – I can’t help but agree.)

A fun fact about me: I have a Google map of all of the independent bookstores I have visited and hope to visit one day. I also collect bookstore coffee mugs!
