Kasia Fryza (Katarzyna Księżopolska) is an illustrator from Warsaw. She attended a visual arts high school in Warsaw before graduating from the Academy of Art in Łódź with a diploma in Product Design. She started her career in advertising but soon realised she wanted to dedicate her life to illustration, which had been a lifelong dream. She is always searching for new ways to push herself, playing with graphics and illustration, she is usually surrounded by pictures, papers, clay, gypsum, pencils, paints and fine felt pens. She loves drawing and travelling through Europe with her husband, daughter and dog in their old van.
CSIL is an illustrator and graphic designer based in the Ardennes region, in the North East of France. In her work, she shapes an eccentric, colourful and poetic world, where quirky characters invite themselves onto the page.

Panos Christodoulou studied Law at the University of Athens and Human Rights at the University of London. He has collaborated on human rights issues with various organisations across Europe, such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the Greek Council for Refugees. In 2016, he became the director of the Network for Children’s Rights. As a children’s author, he has published thirteen books and been nominated for various awards, including the 2013 Children’s Literature Award by the Anagnostis magazine (The Ball of Their Life, Kedros Publishing) the Cyprus State Prize in 2016 (How I Got Involved with Justice and Other Unknown Words, Nomiki Vivliothiki Publishing).
James Carter is an award-winning children’s poet, non-fiction author and musician. His poetry collection Zim Zam Zoom! was shortlisted for the CLiPPA Poetry Award in 2017. For over 20 years, he has visited more than 1,200 schools across the UK, giving lively performances and workshops – often with his melodica, named Steve. James has also appeared at many major literary festivals and is an ambassador for National Poetry Day. He lives in Oxfordshire with his family.
Steph Fizer Coleman is an illustrator and designer from West Virginia, known for her rich textures, playful shapes, and love of nature. She has illustrated dozens of children’s books and enjoys creating art that sparks curiosity and joy in young readers.

Will Hamilton-Davies is a Bristol-based children’s author and poet. His stories champion confidence, curiosity and courage – empowering young readers to speak up, stand out and embrace the world around them.
A testament to his ambition and belief, Will crowdfunded and self-published The Shrew with the Flu, which has now sold over 5,000 copies in the UK alone.

Phoebe Roze is an illustrator from the Scottish Highlands, currently based in Edinburgh. Often looking towards the landscapes, nature and folklore of Scotland to inspire her, a sense of place and playfulness are important elements within her work. Since graduating with a first class honours in Illustration, Phoebe has worked with many interesting organisations, including The Folio Society, Glasgow Children’s Hospital and Dundee City Council. When she isn’t drawing, she can usually be found out cycling on her bike or with her nose in a good book. Our Islands is first author/illustrator book.

Jane Wilsher has worked in children’s publishing for many years, launching lists and commissioning award-winning best-selling children’s books for all ages. Jane also writes for children on all sorts of non-fiction subjects. A favourite day out is a trip to a gallery or museum – it’s the perfect way to power up the imagination and inspire new book projects. Jane lives in London. She has a BA from Sussex University and an MA from London University, both in English Literature. She also has a Foundation in Art and Design from Central Saint Martins, London.

Mar Hernández is a Spanish illustrator, doctor in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos, València.
Her work is versatile and personal, over the years she has worked in different fields such as press illustration, editorial illustration, illustration for product, audiovisual or advertising.
Some of the clients she has worked with are Penguin Random House, The New York Times, Oprah Magazine, The new yorker, Chronicle Books, Variety Magazine, SAP or Samsung.
Her work is rich in details and textures, colourful and optimistic. Mar puts the focus on the ideas and concepts from which she develops her work.
A tireless and multidisciplinary creator, she also carries out projects related to design, music and ceramics.
