
Carly Gledhill is a children’s book creator and print designer based in Manchester. Her colourful creations draw inspiration from children’s TV shows, mid-century design and gardening. Carly was a winning illustrator in the 2024 Bologna Children’s Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition.

Pui Lee (also known as Scout Editions) is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in London. She is inspired by the everyday, ephemera, nature and travel. Her first book for children was published by Nosy Crow in 2024. As a branding, campaigns, product and packaging designer, Pui has worked with reputable global brands including Mulberry, V&A, M&S and The Body Shop.

Tonka Uzu was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria, and has lived in Italy before relocating to Cambridge, UK. She holds a BA Hons in History and Theory of Art from the University of Bologna and a Master’s degree in Children’s Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art at Anglia Ruskin University. Alongside her career as an illustrator, Tonka works as an artist facilitator. She has a passion for drawing children and animals, bringing her unique blend of cultural experiences and academic background to her enchanting illustrations.

Rébecca Dautremer, born in 1971 in Gap, Hautes-Alpes, is a celebrated French illustrator and author of children’s literature. She studied graphic design at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs and transitioned from photography to illustration in 1996, a shift that influenced her focus on lighting in her artwork. Dautremer’s first children’s book, L’Amoureux, was published in 2003 and won the Prix Sorcières. Known for her evocative gouache paintings, she collaborates professionally with her husband, author Taï-Marc Le Thanh.

Didier Cornille was a student of Claude Courtecuisse at the Lille Fine Arts School. He then joined Roger Tallon’s design department at the Arts Décoratifs in Paris. During his studies he met the designer Ettore Sottsass in Milan, who steered his work as a designer. He then turned to the creation of lamps, often in animal shapes, that he exhibits at the Neotu gallery.
After teaching design at the fine arts in Tunis, then in Tourcoing and at LISAA (Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués) in Paris, he taught design for a long time at Le Mans Fine arts School. Today, he devotes his time to his books and his work as a designer. He lives in Paris.

Rossana Bossù lives in Turin and has a degree in advertising and editorial graphics. She taught at the Institute of Applied Art and Design in Turin. In 2009, she retrained as an illustrator and has won numerous awards for her work, including the prestigious Image of the Book International Prize (Russia), and the Dapeng Children’s Natural Book Award (China). Her books have been translated all over the world.

Kasia Antczak is an animal psychologist and dog trainer. Her dream is to live in the country. She loves animals, the smell of the forest and the sound of the sea. She is mother to Filip and caregiver of two rescue dogs, Coco and Luna.
Kasia Fryza (Katarzyna Księżopolska) is an illustrator from Warsaw. She attended a visual arts high school in Warsaw before graduating from the Academy of Art in Łódź with a diploma in Product Design. She started her career in advertising but soon realised she wanted to dedicate her life to illustration, which had been a lifelong dream. She is always searching for new ways to push herself, playing with graphics and illustration, she is usually surrounded by pictures, papers, clay, gypsum, pencils, paints and fine felt pens. She loves drawing and travelling through Europe with her husband, daughter and dog in their old van.
CSIL is an illustrator and graphic designer based in the Ardennes region, in the North East of France. In her work, she shapes an eccentric, colourful and poetic world, where quirky characters invite themselves onto the page.
